RWS Language Services division has been recognised as the world’s largest Language Service Provider – helps customers to create, translate, and deliver content across 250+ languages. Our global team of linguists, project managers, subject matter experts and localization professionals work closely with customers to ensure their communications and multilingual content is compelling, accurate and consistent.

 

About The Role:

This role will be split into two responsibilities, being a Localization Producer and Language Lead for Thai across our Client’s products. The Localization Producer will be Responsible for producing localized App Store marketing content with limited supervision. This position requires a strong project manager with experience working with teams around the globe as well as a solid understanding and sensitivity to cultural nuances. Our ideal candidate is an avid multi-tasker and has at least 5 years of localization project management experience. Native-level fluency in a second language is preferred. The localization project manager will work with the editorial staff, the business team, other project managers, and vendors to ensure that project localization is on track, relevant to the audience, and represents Client’s voice in the marketplace. The localization project manager will manage the input of localized copy into multiple internal and external systems. The successful candidate must be highly detail-oriented and be able to manage linguistic issues for up to 3 languages.  The Localization Producer will also be our go to Language Lead and working closely with the SEA localization producers in making sure we deliver the best quality for the target language. Responsible in signing off high visible copy across our different media services. Manage our target language glossaries and style guide across all services.

 

Requirements:

• Experience in working independent and remotely.
• Able to handle multiple projects and thrive in a very dynamic environment.
• Work well under pressure, with proven experience working on complex, international, large-scale, time-critical projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills English and target language is a must.
• Team player, and can coordinate projects with vendors, localization team staff, the legal team and other departments across Apple localizing App Store marketing content.
• Flexible and versatile in nature, able to take on challenges while maintaining and even keep and sense of humor.
• Results-oriented, upbeat and focused with a strong passion to learn and succeed.
• Localization expertise in media services or consumer marketing.
• Possess a solid understanding of localization QA.

 

Experience

• BA degree or equivalent.
• Background as a writer/journalist for +5 years in either Music, Apps or Video space.
• Experience working in Localization.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Familiarity with the Apple ecosystem of services and hardware (iOS, macOS, Apple Music, App Store, Apple TV+, Apple Books, etc.).
• Experience in methods of automating workflow a plus.
• Excellent verbal communication, written communication, and presentation skills.
