About The Role:

RWS is looking for Localization QA Testers, interested in Localization, Linguistics, or Translation to work with us in a multicultural environment. 

Candidates must have native speaker fluency in any of these languages (Simplified Chinese, Taiwanese-traditional Chinese, Japanese and Korean).

Localization QA Testers will test newly translated content which is in your native language, review for cut-off strings, typos, or garbled text, verify that buttons accurately perform the intended function, review for anything unusual.

Job Information:

• Full-time
• Anticipated work schedule is 9 am to 6 pm (Thailand Standard Time), Monday through Friday
• Remote position, candidates must be located in Bangkok Thailand as they are required to visit office on the first day of the joining day and as occasionally required.

Key Responsibilities of this position

• Perform Quality Assurance tasks for a wide variety of translated software, web and hand-held applications and devices.
• Report linguistic and/or functional errors  
• Complete the assigned tasks and be punctual.

Skills and Experience: 

• Must be a native speaker of Japanese, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Korean.
• Currently residing in Bangkok, Thailand.
• Large vocabulary in more than one area in both English and native language
• Quickly able to translate (written and verbal)
• Prefer experience with both iOS and Android mobile devices OR Experience with both PCs and MACs but NOT MUST
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering OR (humanities) OR Master's Degree level education (any subject) OR Linguistics OR language degree OR Any field.
• Should be determined, Inquisitive and curious
• Should love puzzles and problem-solving
• Passionate about language
• Use up-to-date technology in their own lives
• Self-starter, able to work independently

Note - We need Native Language candidate or Thai native who has any language skill of those 4 languages. For other skills we will train during training session and any professional background can apply for this role. It’s an Language testing role.
