As a Logistic sales Manager, you will be responsible for Plan and ensure execution of business line sales strategy for assigned area, to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for products, systems and/or services in a profitable way, for Robotics & Discrete Automation Business Area in Shanghai, China.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading, developing and coaching the Sales organization proactively, to exceed the sales targets through high performance in order to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities

  • Creating, planning and implementing logistic sales strategy, and strategic sales and business development initiatives, in alignment with global sales strategy. Achieving sales targets in respect of both budgets and sales efficiency
  • Establishing sales targets and ensures sales achievement through regular oversight and definition and implementation of improvement plans as needed
  • Identifying opportunities at existing and potential new customers within defined geographical area and determining plans for acquisition and allocates resources
  • Coordinating the flow of information for sales activities and transactions, including leads, billings, orders, contracts, etc. and evaluating data to ensure achievement of goals. Monitoring and providing reports to the Marketing and Sales organization on market intelligence
  • Ensuring achievement of sales volume and product mix targets by setting appropriate price and margin for sales. Participating on negotiations of key contracts, managing ongoing costs
  • Monitoring client financial status and reporting any changes regarding risk to relevant internal partner teams
  • Taking ownership of the sales processes, and all relevant training and development plans, actions and programs
  • Ensuring (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Coaching, motivating and developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies

Your background

  • 5 years’ experience in sales related roles in logistic and/or service robot industry
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications with the advanced Excel and Power Point skills.
  • A university degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Automation, Marketing or Business-related fields.
  • Fluency in English
  • Effective presentation skills, strong customer orientation and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Highly motivated, self-driven, proven track record of delivering results and strong orientation to bring things forward
