The intern's role will initially be observational and supportive regarding various projects within logistics planning (part delivery, quality, timing, etc.), to include large amounts of data management.  The intern will assist with the creation and tracking of project time lines, running and maintaining relevant data, and supporting to the go live of the said projects.

The qualified intern should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions:

• Support required meetings with creation of agenda and meeting minutes.
• Support creation, monitoring and tracking of deliverables of relevant projects.
• Support team with creation of or maintaining data in Microsoft Project.
• Parts Enabler Projects within the business structure of assembly logistics, bodyshop and High Voltage Battery.
• Creation or updating business process models where applicable.

• Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management
• Supply Chain knowledge
• Logistics knowledge
• Business Administration knowledge
• Good IT knowledge, e.g. office package, data base knowledge
• Good typing skills
• German Language a plus
• Successful completion of previous internship/working student assignment within the BMW group (3-month period minimum). 
• Current enrollment in Master program outside of the US or enrolled in the last semester of a Bachelor program outside of the US.
• Equivalent of 3.0 GPA.
• Must provide the following paperwork in English:
  o    Cover Letter
  o    Curriculum Vitae 
  o    Last University Performance Record
  o    Relevant references and certificates.
