Eaton’s Industries division is currently seeking a Logistics Analyst to join our team. This position is based at our Queretaro facility.
The Logistics Analyst is responsible to comply with all Eaton’s import-export and domestic transportation requirements while following Eaton Group guidance and deploy division strategy to Queretaro operation observing all the time the applicable legislation.
Some activities related with the position will be:
- Management of Logistics Spend (Monthly, Annually)
- Define Fcst for Logistics Spend for Auto operation.
- Support to resolve all the discrepancies of shipments due to logistics issues
- Drive continuous improvements
- Support to engineering change’s (pro launch and cost our project’s)
- Cost out to logistic area (forwarders, carriers, brokers) every month have a meeting to review the status with Logistics and / or GTM group
- Support to Traffic area for urgent shipments
- Follow-up to forwarder, carriers & broker invoicing.
- Negotiation with new forwarders, carriers & brokers to implement
- new projects for logistic area.
- Confirming departures from origin and arrivals to customs.
- Releasing materials from custom.
- To follow shipments from customs to Eaton Queretaro Plant
- Update the tracking file.
- Upload supplier information for TEMEC control
- Management and control of domestic freights
- Follow up freight invoices
- Drive continuous improvements
- Daily Control freight charges
- Assist to conference with division
Qualifications
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or similar
- MFG Pro Intermediate level
- Skills in Logistic area (customs, inland, freight)
- 2 years’ experience as traffic analyst, knowledge in customs clearance, incoterms and foreign trade.
- English
Preferred Qualifications:
- Negotiations skills
- Leadership skills
- MRP knowledge
- Technical knowledge of bill of material structuring, schedule execution, and inventory management
- APICS training Desirable
- 2 years’ experience as materials planner working with NAFTA region suppliers
- Work under the guidelines, policies and process of Eaton's Philosophy, IATF 16949 and ISO 14000 Environmental.
