The Backoffice Order Management is responsible for monitoring backlog ensuring order accuracy and on-time delivery of sales orders. This person will respond to order inquiries from Sales/Marketing, Customer Service Representatives (CSR) and Logistics Centers supporting Dako as well as any products shipped from the Logistics center in Glostrup.

Principal duties and responsibilities

As our new colleague you will be part of a Danish team of all together 3 team members, and you will refer to a remote manager at a different Agilent site. Therefore, a high level of independence is required for this role, as we are looking for a go getter profile, who is not afraid to ask questions and reach out to your colleagues in order to find a solution for any enquiry. The team monitors daily backlog of orders shipping from Glostrup and work closely with other Backoffice Logistics teams supporting the Diagnostics and Genomics Groups.

Primary tasks

• Ensure sales orders are rescheduled and shipments are processed within 48 hours of material availability
• Work with CSRs globally to ensure order accuracy, remove delivery blocks preventing shipment and billing blocks preventing invoicing
• Work with Customer Service Business Process Analyst (BPA) to ensure orders are updated as Engineering changes are implemented affecting sales orders
• Attend backorder meetings to obtain up-to-date backorder release dates
• Provide accurate, timely and up-to-date order status to requestors
• Report proactive order status in times of heavy backlog or longer than expected lead-times
• Maintain and reports accurate data regarding backlog status and activities
• Work closely with the Materials group ensuring proper Material Requirements Planning (MRP) settings affecting accurate order information to customers and material requirements
• Processes Internal orders to other Agilent entities and replacement orders. And ensures timely shipment and reportin
• Ad hoc tasks on a daily basis.
