Then come and join our team as a Logistics Coordinator based in Bayswater, Victoria. This exciting opportunity has become available due to internal promotions. In your role as a Logistics Coordinator you will ensure the highest quality of logistics processes to meet the scheduled jobs with customers whilst ensuring that target logistics cost levels are maintained.
Your mission and responsibilities:
- Master Data: Maintain Create and Maintain Master Data.
- Ordering: Processing order request received internally to meet the customer demand in a timely manner and monitoring the progress of orders by liaising with customs clearing, warehouse, transportation and suppliers.
- Delivering: Monitoring order progress and ensure on time delivery by liaising with the Customer Call Centre (CCC), warehouse, transportation and suppliers.
- Handle trouble shooting and complaints for logistics issue from the field.
- Daily order status monitoring: Monitoring designed reports to ensure orders are arranged properly according to expectation, goods movement is completed in a timely manner by liaising with CCC, Customer Service Engineers and 3PL.
- Logistics cost control: Ensure that a balance is maintained between on time delivery to fulfil job schedules and logistics cost targets.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- An understanding of the importance of on time delivery and customer satisfaction
- Ability to work and contribute to a close team environment while also working independently
- An effective communicator with all stakeholders both internal and external
- At least 2 years’ experience with SAP SD module
- At least 2 years’ experience in customer service
- Excellent knowledge of Excel. Vlookup, pivot tables
- Experience in forwarding company / warehouse management or 3PL management is highly preferable
You must be able to provide evidence of your eligibility to work in Australia.
