Primary Purpose:
The Mercedes-Benz Manhattan Logistics Dispatcher’s mission is to manage and maintain the flow of vehicles through the workshop to their specific destinations, using the vehicle pick-up and delivery process, to support increased convenience, efficiency, productivity and customer satisfaction.


Job Responsibilities
The Mercedes-Benz Manhattan Logistics Dispatcher must provide a consistently outstanding brand and customer experience through consistently outstanding preparation, attitude, and teamwork.
- Engage and communicate professionally with Drivers located in different levels of the building, Technicians regarding the location and movement of vehicles, and with the team involved in the cleaning of vehicles.

- Manage all incoming and outgoing vehicle requests on a daily basis achieving an organized, coordinated movement of cars.

- Update and maintain location of vehicles staged or moved around the building.

- Support Supervisor in overseeing team of employees so that they respond timely, appropriately and professionally to customers and dealership team needs.  

- Coordinate with the Loaner Department and Logistics Teams to ensure quality control, customer satisfaction and a smooth flow of vehicle movement throughout the dealership. 

- Research new technologies, develop strategies and implement processes to decrease wait-time and increase speed at retrieving and dropping off vehicles at their final destination.

- Assist Supervisor with recognizing department issues and/or opportunities.

- Exemplify the importance of positive and enthusiastic behavior before, during and after every encounter with every visitor at the dealership.

- Must be able to commute to and from Manhattan/New York City location.

Requirements & Conditions
- High School Diploma (GED) or equivalent work experience.

- 1+ years of experience in dealership or dispatch logistics role

- Bilingual – a plus

- Positive work ethic, highly motived, self-started and a team player
