Primary accountabilities of this position include providing supervision and technical direction to a staff of supply chain professionals engaged in planning and engineering efforts in Manufacturing Logistics (ML) space for PSLD clients in AP region, ensuring that facilities operate at the maximum efficiency and under appropriate Logistics Standards.
This position is responsible for coaching and mentoring a team of Supply Chain / Logistics Engineers in developing manufacturing logistics solutions, facility designs and layouts, material & equipment specification / acquisition / installation, governmental compliance, process design, data analysis, on site implementation support, space analysis, Collaborating and communicating across multiple facility functions in order to effectively deploy lean material flow plans for a facility, which may include implementing changes to factory floor layout and material presentation to the point of use and working with other supply chain functional areas on continuous improvement efforts. This team supports manufacturing logistics projects around the world, but primary responsibility is in the Asia Pacific region.
This position requires excellent leadership skills to effectively sponsor value chain improvements making the best use of available resources, while maintaining strong people focus and fulfilling the responsibilities for leading people. It also needs the capabilities to manage a multinational team; align people’s efforts toward the objectives; motivate & inspire people to achieve program goals, having strong business acumen to understand customer requirements and cost drivers, and their impact on the value chain and ultimately OPACC and competitive advantage. The incumbent needs advanced knowledge of CPS, 6 Sigma processes and lean value chain principles, specifically those applied to pull replenishment using material replenishment tools and processes, material flow, packaging and containerization, the corporate NPI process, facility product and engineering change control processes and throughput efficiency with a clear understanding of value chain planning processes and analytical tools.
Key responsibilities include creating and maintaining an organizational climate/culture, which encourages innovation, collaboration, commitment and a sense of urgency toward business success; utilizing Common Processes where appropriate; and continuous development of staff.
The position manages a staff of management employees where monitoring and reviewing work of subordinates is required. The position is responsible for all personnel issues and performance evaluation of subordinates.

Required Qualifications
  • College or university degree, preferably in Supply Chain and/or Logistics Management or Industrial Engineering;
  • Experience with CPS RIW and Value Stream Transformation process
  • Minimum of five to eight years of progressively responsible Supply Chain job experience
  • Previous experience in Supply Chain / Logistics Planning
  • Experience in the development and deployment of Supply Chain processes
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong collaborative, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Effective communicator, in written and oral form.
  • Fluent in the English language and Chinese language.
Desirable Qualifications

Advanced knowledge and understanding of lean concepts and tools, CPS and lean supply chain principles, supply chain process, common supply chain systems
  • Knowledge of 6 Sigma Project Management principles
  • Thorough understanding of company policies and procedures
Background in Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Inventory Management, Material Requirements Planning, Demand Management and/or Logistics
