Eaton at CPD PCD Division is currently seeking for a Manager Logistics to join our team. This position is based at our Haina, Dominican Republic facility. The role will be responsible for: Provide the highest customer service, keeping inventory and air freight costs, as well as an efficient logistic service to get the customer with the material in the right time. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provide leadership and manage Logistics areas (Warehouse, Customs / Traffic and Shipping) to ensure practices in compliance with company's procedures / policies / safety requirements, and continuous improvement focus. Responsible for key processes such as: Warehouse /Shipping inventory accuracy, import /export logistics supplier performance, warehouse cost optimization, customs diligence, export transit time, control and reduction of lead times. Build organizational capabilities through development plans, mentoring, driving accountability, cross training, and succession planning for CPD Haina Logistic teams. Responsible for establishing and perform profit plan targets for capital investment , warehouse inventory accuracy and logistics cost out Support new product introduction in terms of warehouse space, global trade requirements, shipping processes, etc. Ensure site adheres to Supply Chain logistics policies and corporate guidance / programs. Oversees 3rd party vendors compliance with Logistic / Safety procedures (ex: DR custom representatives, forklift rental process, etc) Daily support to Manufacturing function to overcome problems that might delay products to be shipped on time. Lead continuous improvement projects that impact Logistics efficiency and performance, managing related metrics and establishing plans to bridge identified gaps. Perform specific processes required by EBS ( related to Lean tools, EQS, ProLaunch, MESH) Perform specific functions to this position as described in the Quality Manual. Responsibilities related to Health, Safety and Environment (EHS): Execute 100% all Mesh Prism actions Assist to all EHS training assigned. Promote all MESH Process and Policies to all the employees under his/her supervisor #LI-MM3 Qualifications SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Business Administration, or similar careers. Minimum experience of 7 years in similar positions. Bilingual (English/Spanish). PC knowledge, Microsoft Office, AS400, Power BI and VISTA Preferable. CPIM – CSCP Certification as a plus. Knowledge of Lean Tools and 6 Sigma. Knowledge of MRP, Inventory control, DR Custom Laws and Global Trade requirements.
