Job Description

Title: Warehouse Superuser

 

Function: Logistics

 
Department: Warehouse
 

Reports to: Warehouse Superuser Manager

 

Direct Reports:  None

 

Overall Job Function: Responsible for a well-functioning Warehouse Management System, as well as developing system functionality.  Support the warehouse operations while embracing the H&M values, policies and all relevant procedures by collaborating with the Warehouse Managers and all teams.  Maximize operational excellence, quality, and efficiency in a sustainable way for our customers, in all brands and channels.

 

Job Responsibility including but not limited to:

  • Provide first line system and IT support to the Group Leaders, Specialists and Qualified Users
  • Prepare & follow-up participation in recommended Group Leader, Qualified User, Specialists & End User trainings
  • Educate Group Leaders, Qualified Users, Specialists & End Users in the IT system functionality
  • Communicate change requests from Group Leaders, Specialists & Qualified Users to the Central Super User Team
  • Distribute & translate release notes and inform / train users in the new functionality of a release
  • Communicate routine or best practice changes to Group Leaders, Qualified Users, Specialists & End Users
  • Train Group Leaders & Qualified Users on how to extract data from the warehouse monitor in order to track progress of daily tasks, report KPIs and perform daily clean-up activities
  • Keep the Group Leaders, Specialists & Qualified Users up to date on system clean up task progresses
  • Ensure that the current system works, issues are reported, and workarounds are provided in order to maintain the best service to the stores and to secure that business is not interrupted
  • Escalate system issues that cannot be resolved internally to Global AM Team or IT Helpdesk and works collaboratively with support until the incident is resolved.
  • Ensure that all decided IT system related procedures are implemented and maintained with high quality level
  • Maintain necessary user account access, IT hardware, and IT materials to work within the system are established, available and maintained.
  • Monitor best practice and working procedures within the systems
  • Troubleshoot, challenge and develop existing system functionality in order to improve business processes
  • Maintain delivery schedule to stores and supports in answering stock queries from stores, merchandisers, or other cross functional departments.
  • Verify that the system works as intended after a deployment of a release
  • Ensure constant improvement through deep system analysis
  • Establish & ensure task related business goals
  • Follow all legal requirements, H&M policies and procedures

Minimum Candidate Qualifications:

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Associates or bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, IT, Logistics or related fields is preferred 
  • Minimum of 2 years of WMS experience, preferably in SAP or Manhattan

  • Open availability including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, stretch, engage in repetitive motions
  • Great interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Ability to conceptualize and implement performance objectives and make recommendations regarding methodology and procedures.
  • Takes own initiative to find solutions.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and multi-task
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • A good understanding of IT systems and how you work with the functionality provided
  • Competent working with Microsoft Excel and managing data
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and ability to adapt to company specific systems
  • Minimal travel required (i.e. Workshops)
