Job Description
Logistics Specialist Overall Activities
This position is mainly for handling the imports of the company, but not limited to this.

• Imports:
o Handle the imports for the materials purchased from overseas and parts returned from customers. prepare all the relevant information and documents that required for customs clearance
o Coordinate with purchasing department or Sales department internally, and with forwarders/shipping companies externally to follow up closely to make sure the materials’ arrive timely and legally.
o Review the importing methods and costs regularly to ensure the supplier uses the most effective and cost-competitive solution.
o Review the HS code to make sure to use the right one for the parts
o Maintain and update the relevant information related to imports cost for each imports.

• Exports
o Handle the shipments that picked up by customer’s forwarder. Prepare all the documents required for shipments.
o Obtain quotation prior to shipping arrangements for price comparison
o Coordinate with the forwarders for any issues occurred
o Maintain and update all the relative information in ERP Logistics Daily and the information for declaration for Finance department
o Any other related Exports that required.
• Check all invoices occurred for imports and exports handled and follow up the payments
Any other responsibilities as assigned or required.

Educational Qualifications and Skills Required

• 2-3 years’ experience in Imports, especially for IC, Resisters etc Electronics components, familiar with customs regulation
• good communication and negotiation skills,
• Proactive, communicative, teamwork, detail oriented.
• Basic read and written English
• Basic Microsoft skills for Outlook, Excel, Word.
• College degree or above
