MBRDNA is headquartered in Silicon Valley, California, with key areas of Autonomous Driving, Advanced Interaction Design, Digital User Experience, Machine Learning, Customer Research, and Open Innovation. In Redford, Michigan, the focus is on Powertrain and eDrive technology as well as in Long Beach, where the teams test durability of the latest driver assistant and telematic systems. The Digital Hub in Seattle focusses on developing a cloud architecture and building out the cloud platform for the next generation of connected car services. The Testing and Regulatory Affairs Division in Ann Arbor and the Advanced Vehicle Design in Carlsbad complete the competence center.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Implement and improve vehicle logistics preparation (including scrapping) with required documentation
Coordinate parking inventory management (including auxiliary lot(s))
Release and accept vehicles according to acceptance/release procedures
Update and maintain documentation in vehicles – insurance, registration, accident info, etc.
Coordinate and assist with location vehicle operations – assist with vehicle moves to/from dealer/carwash/prep center
Oversee inventory management with vehicle operations license plate, fuel card, experimental permits, toll transponders, and other equipment
Schedule, oversee and reconcile on-site vehicle cleaning/detailing
Plan capacity and structure to support testing projects to set-up and dismantle vehicles with equipment and supplies
Required Qualifications
- Minimum level of education required and required field of study:
Associate’s Degree - Business
- Minimum skills required :
- Strong organizational and analytical skills for executing projects and procedures, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work in a multi-lingual and multi-cultural environment.
- Ability to interface effectively with technical staff and management
- Proficiency in automotive terminology and phrases
- Experience with inventory management software
- Highly self-motivated and able to work proactively independently and as team.
- Team Player, interested in interacting and working with others.
- Always open to take on new tasks and responsibilities
- Strong experience and knowledge of standard office software and presentation tools such as power point, word excel, e-mail, spreadsheet, Internet Browser
- Strong organizational and analytical skills and solid understanding of operational procedures and processes
- Will accept equivalent work experience in lieu of formal education
