Objective of job
Ensure that our localized MB vehicles in China fulfill the Mercedes-Benz standards regarding overall vehicle energy efficiency / performance / drivability for Chinese customer.
Task Description
1. Definition of development target of Mercedes-Benz passenger cars regarding performance (e.g. 0-100km/h-acceleration-time etc.) and drivability
• Develop testing procedures to meet major use cases in China in order to evaluate and approve function in China
• Distinguish most customer related parameters based on understanding of China market and alignment with component/system engineers in RD in order to design tailored test cases.
• Deep-dive benchmarking analysis based on objective measurement and data processing
2. Plan and impelementation of objective measurement regarding Longitudinal Dynamics testing in China
• Plan measurement during the development process
• Implementation of defined measurement
• Processing of measurement data
• Identification of issues and derivation of counter-measures
• Tracking along development and release of function
3. Generation of performance related certification value and marketing value (0-100km/h-acceleration time)

4. Research of Chinese market-specific
• No pre-defined research scope, fully self-designed topics
• The employee has the freedom of research scope
