What you will be doing:

• Ensure the overall safety and security of the guests, employees, and property premises
• Investigate and report any violations to law/property policy, occurrences of accidents, complaints, criminal activity and crisis situations
• Conduct regular floor patrols and crowd control
• Act, participate and assist during emergency situations
• Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
• Rotating shifts that may include early mornings, evenings, and possibility for overnight shifts

Your experience and skills include:

• Relevant security experience in similar role
• Certification in CPR an asset
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to work alone and/or cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
• Fluency in English both verbal and non-verbal

Physical aspects of the position include but are not limited to:

• Exert physical effort in carrying up to 40lbs
• Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas
• Reach 2 to 4 inches/feet
• Frequent walking, and use of stairs/ramps
• Remain in stationary position and standing for 2 to 4 hours throughout work shift

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in the United States. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining work authorization documents.
