Responsible for managing information technology infrastructure as well as applications and software within AIA and providing technical support to internal users

Job Description :

• Establish and maintain asset management strategies that align and support IT and corporate strategies

• Refine and maintain policies, standards, processes, systems and measurements that enable the organization to manage the IT Asset Portfolio with respect to risk, cost, control, IT governance, compliance and business performance objectives as established by the business

• Identify and implement best practices for asset management that supports our IT strategy and corporate strategy

• Uncover savings through process improvement and support for strategic decision making

• Continuously investigate and implement opportunities to effectively utilize and govern our assigned IT assets

• Manage asset life cycle for IT hardware and software

• Produce regular license compliance reports and propose cost optimization solutions

• Support negotiation and performance management with software vendors/suppliers

Performance Management-
• Ensures the relevant functional services are delivered in accordance with contractual or agreed service levels and Key Performance Indicators.

• Monitors delivery progress against targets, reporting as necessary and ensuring appropriate actions are taken to address exceptions and variations.

Solution Leadership-
• Works with suppliers and partner organisations to offer related solution design and assurance services as needed / requested.

• Works with AIA Business Units, suppliers and partner organisations to ensure related technology solutions deployed across AIA are fit for purpose and implemented effectively.

Quality, Compliance and Assurance
• Ensures that AIA, suppliers and partner organisations comply and adhere with industry standards and best practice in the functional area.

• Ensure that related technology solution designs are implementable and cost effective for AIA.

• Provides a quality assurance for the related functional area.

• Champion for compliance, quality and assurance for functional area.

Communication and Stakeholder management-
• Proactively communicates and presents related technology solutions information to stakeholders in a clear, concise and persuasive manner

• Provides related advice and guidance to AIA stakeholders

• Ensures that stakeholders understand the current and proposed solutions and how these can be exploited for business value.

Job Requirements :

• 8+ years of related experience in IT/MIS software procurement, purchasing and/or asset management experience

• Familiarity with ITAM / ITSM process, procedures and best practices

• IAITAM Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM) certification is an advantage

• Strong understanding and knowledge on interpreting licensing terms & conditions, agreements, maintenance contracts. Experience in managing IBM, Oracle, Microsoft, Adobe and VMWare licenses will be definite advantage.
