Job Description

Report directly to the Executive Director, the core results areas in this role are:

  1. a team of competent, collaborative & dynamic TUF people – through leading the talent acquisition, learning and development functions;
  2. effective collaboration with multiple stakeholders – Education professionals, TUF Partner Schools, universities, TUF Alumni, professional trainers and volunteers, NGOs;
  3. impactful engagement with TUF Partner Schools to expand and deepen mentorship impact on students – motivate, develop and support teachers to embed and sustain TUF mentorship programs in school system and culture;
  4. established a professional learning community of educators to enhance their capability in mentorship and promote collaboration and sharing of good practices in student development;
  5. the credibility and absolute probity of TUF being upheld - through good management processes, efficient implementation and resource utilization, tracking and measurement.


The right person, besides being a university graduate with at least 5 years’ management experience, is one who:

  • shares our vision, values and passion in education and youth development;
  • is a committed people manager who enjoys the challenges integrating people and organizational development;
  • has proven achievements in managing talent acquisition, development and skill training programs, preferably were designed for university graduates and/or Education practitioners;
  • is an excellent communicator with strong engagement and facilitation skills, as well as proficient in written and spoken Chinese and English.
  • is impact-oriented, solution-focused, organized, and as an authentic leader genuinely interested in team building and learning;
