  What you will be doing:
• The Marine Biologist is responsible and accountable for all functions and activities related to marine, turtle and island life biology, for environmental benchmarking, reporting, advising, implementing of best practices as well as for the necessary coordination with the many departments of the resort and allied areas.
• Responsible for organizing and coordinating all activities related to marine biology.
• Present and conduct marine awareness talk (giving talks for guests, team members, local islanders and other interest group.
• Guide and accompany the guests on scuba diving and snorkeling trips.
• Work on the projects like coral line project, long term reef rehabilitation project and other related research study.
•  
• Your experience and skills include:
• Previous experience in luxury hotel/resort.
• Strong leadership, ability to train and motivate team.
• PhD or MSc In biology (preferably marine biology, zoology or ecology) is required.
• Diving License PADI OWSI or Above
• Knowledge of tropical reef and island ecology is an advantage
• Highly interactive and people-friendly attitude.
• Requires passion for conservation and social environment welfare
• Good levels of written and spoken English.
• Understanding Green globe program and concept is an added advantage.
• Ability to work in a remote location or island life.
• Note: Customization may be included for any specific local or legislative requirements, such as work permits
