Job Specification:

Experience
- 3 to 7 years of experience in Software development

Education & Training
- Bachelor / Master Degree in Computer Science/Electronics & Communication/Electrical Engineering or in a relevant stream.


Mandatory Skills
- Good C/C++ and Object oriented programming skills
- Good Knowledge of Automotive Infotainment System Architecture
- Strong experience in using IPC mechanisms like Thrift, DBus, Franca, Common-API etc.,
- Good experience in CAN,SOME/IP and OSEK/AUTOSAR
- Strong knowledge of UML Modelling tools like EA, Rhapsody.
- Good knowledge of SW-Version-Tools – SVN and GIT
- Expertise in any one of the infotainment modules e.g. Navigation, Media, Tuner etc.
- Excellent Communication and Team work skills
- Experience in working with Agile methodology.
- Experience in developing middleware services
- Strong Stakeholder Management
- Should have collaborated with cross functional teams
- Linux Platform Experience

Desired Skills
- Knowledge of scripting languages –python, PERL
- Very Good Knowledge of Requirement Management Tool – DOORS
- Experience in Backend (Cloud) Apps/Services development
- Knowledge of Test Driven Development

Job Responsibilities
- Analyse requirements and define interfaces in collaboration with all stake holders.
- Programming using SWDL principles
- Participate in integration and architecture workshops.
- Development, integration and release management of interfaces.
- HLD, LLD and all supportive documentation of SW modules.
- Hold weekly meetings with all stakeholders to collate issues, track changes, resolve conflicts.
- Ensure Interface delivery is aligned with SW releases and project schedule.
- Generate IDLs from all the packages and deliver to Harman and resolve any conflicts.
- Communicate to all stakeholders about critical and high dependency changes.
- Ensure proper hygiene and quality standards in Interfaces delivered.
- Improve the Interface Definition process efficiency by continuous review.
