The Core micro-architecture team is looking for outstanding researchers to develop algorithms for Intel’s next generation Processor Core micro-architecture.

The job includes:

• Analyzing the performance bottlenecks of the current generation.
• Develop new HW algorithms and new HW structures for improving the core performance in a power efficient manner.
• Code (C++) and evaluate the new algorithms using simulations.
• Tune and improve the algorithms for best performance and power.
• Write definition documents

Qualifications

Outstanding EE or CS MSc or PhD.

Programing skills are required (preferably C++).

Processor core micro-architecture familiarity is an advantage.
