Develops a strategy for the needed Industry Standards, with a core focus on BIM (Building Information Modelling) as a major growth enabler and drives the implementation and Continues Improvement within the organizations. Your main duties: Develops/leads the strategic focus and roadmap for BIM according to the Level of Detail and related to the lifecycle phase of a building. It can be defined by Segment/Customer, by Marketing expectations or new product lines/business lines. Prioritizes BIM as a major growth enabler for the business by providing detailed BIM requirements in the EMEA lead Commercial Construction Digitalization initiative. Collaborates with Sales Support/Configurator teams to guarantee an efficient process for the usage to the generated BIM models for systems. Aligns the implementation roadmap according budget between businesses and central functions. Represents Eaton in Committees for BIM, e.g. CECAPI (European Committee of Electrical Installation Equipment Manufactures). Defines and guides processes and Leading indicators/KPIs to measure progress of BIM deployment, revenue impact and continuously improve. Supports global standardization within Eaton. Ensures implementation in Eaton's MDM tool and process landscape for efficient and effective processes aligned with IT. Aligns priority need for different Industry product data standards like ETIM, ETIM-MC, eClass Advanced, BIM, IEC-CDD, and other upcoming standards for Industry 4.0/Digital Twin between the different businesses and sales channels/segments Qualifications Required: Bachelor level degree with postgraduate qualification in Electrical Industry Standards with focus on BIM 5+ in an area related to MDM/Project Management Tools: experience in PLM/MDM systems. Processes: Industry 4.0, BIM, Digital Twin related Data models: BIM, Eclass, ETIM, IEC-CDD, … Fluent English knowledge, any other European language is a benefit Extensive digital know-how is desired Data Literacy Then we want to hear about you!
