Mission: Define and implement communications activities to support the business of Siemens Mobility Middle East & Africa, leverage the Egypt high-speed rail project in the Region, position the company in the Region, and be the trusted Communications Business Partner for the Regional Management. Your Role – International, Challenging and Future-Oriented! Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy for Siemens Mobility Middle East & Africa, by putting an emphasis on media relations & external high-level stakeholder management, social media, and employee engagement Develop a clear communications roadmap and positioning for the Regional Management to increase awareness and scale the potential of the High-Speed project within the Middle East Region, consisting of UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Morocco, and South Africa. Be a sparring partner for the local CC project communicators of the High-Speed project Plan, draft and check corporate communications documents such as corporate statements, presentations, briefing papers, storylines, and management speeches Plan and organize regional trade fairs and conferences, such as Middle East Rail, as well as internal events (e.g., Townhalls) Plan, produce, schedule, and promote digital content to be published via global and regional Siemens Mobility Social Media channels. Monitor the development of new channels and their suitability to engage relevant target groups. Maintain the regional SMO Internet sites Screen and evaluate customer, business partner and above all competitor communication activities Co-operate as an integral member of the global SMO CC team to leverage synergies between Headquarters and Region and lead a team of three communication experts in different countries with the potential to grow further Your Qualifications and Skills – Digital and Solid! Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or related area. Master or MBA is desired. At least 10 years of experience with internal and external communications, as well as Social Media Management and Social Media platforms (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram). Comprehensive experience in crisis communications Research and monitoring of topics, trends, and best practices in communications are a natural part of your professional expertise You are proficient in content management platforms and Microsoft Office Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic with multi-stakeholders internally and externally Experience in leading a team Ability to work independently as well as great team player with good interpersonal skills and excellent organizational skills What else do you need to know?
