Job Description
THE COMPANY :
- Design, develop and manufacture of smart home specially for elderly home care and home safety carrying own brand name
- Innovative DIY consumer electronic product, RF wireless products and Green Powered Products for elderly care, home safety and home security
- Main markets : US, Europe, Asia
- Headquarters : Hong Kong
- Factory : Dongguan
- We are looking for MERCHANDISER / SOURCING SPECIALIST - with details as follows :
THE JOB :
- Handle products & vendors sourcing, products development and price negotiations
- Conduct factory inspections and ensure product quality
- Keep track of purchase orders, monitor inventory and shipments
- Source and develop new vendors and products according to the request from sales team
- Involve with establishing product specifications
- Work closely with in-house quality assurance team and vendors on product testing and inspection arrangement
- Conduct market research to understand up-to-date market information
- Contribute to ongoing brainstorming sessions on new products planning
- Proactively seeking for new opportunities and identifying new trends
- Evaluates and trains potential new and existing vendors to ensure production requirements and compliance standards in line with Company's Policy
- Create vendors library and identify best in class vendors in the region
- Maintain good relationships with vendors
- Min 3 years merchandising / sourcing experience
- Diploma or Degree holder preferably in Merchandising / Supply Chain or related disciplines
- Working experience in Senior / Elderly / Rehabilitation / Health & Wellness Products is preferred.
- Understanding of buying office, manufacturing principles, materials, production process, International logistics and trade with hands-on approach
- Highly passion in products development and knowledgeable in latest market trends
- Excellent interpersonal skills with proven record of building relationships
- Knowledge of testing requirements / safety standards for toys / children / electronics products
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Mandarin
- Strong computer skills including MS Office, PowerPoint, Adobe AI and Photoshop
- Travel required
- 5 days work
- Office location : Kwai Hing
