Job Description
THE COMPANY :
- German buying office & trading company
- Main items : consumer electronics, home electrical appliances, sundries, travel items, furniture, lightings, seasonal and household
- Main market : Germany, USA & Australia inclusive of department stores & supermarket chains
- Asian offices : HK, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Ningbo, Vietnam
- We are looking for MERCHANDISER (small home electrical appliance) – with details as follows :
THE JOB :
- Source and develop the Electrical Small Home Appliances for clients
- Follow up projects to start with offer samples, products from development until the shipment
- Working closely with suppliers in China and client in world wide
- Regularly communicate with sales teams at different locations (i.e. Germany / Sydney / Chicago)
- Frequently travel to China is required
- Report to the Merchandising Manager
- Post secondary education
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Electrical Small Home Appliances with knowledge about the manufacturing procedures and facilities
- Knowledge in Electronics Engineering is an advantage, but not a must
- Familiar with Europe markets as well as worldwide customers, even better to have the knowledge about the legal requirements and all relevant certifications.
- Know well about the project procedures which should be started with offer samples or products from R&D until the shipment is worked out.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin (both spoken and written inclusive)
- Good in MS Office, such as MS Excel, MS Outlook
- Independent with result oriented mindset
- 5 days work
- Annual leave : 12 days
- 13 months salary + performance bonus
