The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies. Through these efforts, IT helps to improve the competitive position of Corning's businesses through IT enabled processes. IT also delivers Information Technology applications, infrastructure, and project services in a cost efficient manner to Corning worldwide.

Purpose of the Position:

Work as IT engage contact window of TC plant, the responsibility of MES analyst is to keep MES systems operate smoothly with minimal production impact. And also provide professional IT daily service to TC business partners by coordination with global/regional IT organization

Day to Day Responsibilities:

 Collaborate with Service Line Management to support MES daily operation

 MES application systems trouble-Shooting, issue resolving, case analysis and repeating case reduction

 Provide IT daily service by coordination with global/regional IT resource.

 Build good communication with IT related support teams to provide the proper & efficient IT solution to business

 Rotation of emergent call with other team members

 Vendor resource management

 Support plant business activities by assignment

 Sustain IMS operation quality with compliance of Software Development Life Cycle

 Update MBO objectives monthly and take proactive action to ensure all results meet targets P

roject involved with:

 Engage business partners as plant IT contact and participate IT Project / task with involvement in Build/Test/Implementation phases by assignment

Reporting Structure:

 Immediate Supervisor: Chang Jedgin , CDT TC IT manager Education & Experience Education

 Bachelor or above in IT relevant area Experience

 3– 5 years’ hands-on experience in IT software development and maintenance

 1 – 3 years’ MES system experience on development and maintenance

Required Skills

• Be familiar with the following computer skills: - Visual Studio programming skill. (MCSD certification will be plus) - Relational Database System manipulation: system design and manipulation, SQL statement, stored procedures (Oracle, SQL Server)

• Solid experiences and knowledge in software development, system analysis, design or programming.

• IAP awareness is required

• Fluent English both in written and oral is required with TOEIC score 700 above
