MFTBC CO2 Neutrality & Sustainability Lead

Your opportunity
As a market leader in commercial vehicles within Japan MFTBC maintains both large production facilities and service centers all across the country. In line with other Daimler Trucks entities, MFTBC is determined to work towards CO2 neutrality and to find ways to limit its impact on the environment. The ideal candidate would share this drive and back it up with relevant experience within energy management, environmental sustainability and CO2 reduction activities and preferably, they would have a relevant qualification such as 電気工事士・保全技能士・電気主任技術者・エネルギー管理士・建築物環境衛生管理技術者 (nice to have).
You will be working within a team of facility management experts with members from all over the world and collaborating with other Daimler Trucks entities on pushing environmental & CO2 neutrality topics. The primary language you will use will be Japanese however; due to the international collaboration topics, the ideal candidate also would have business level English or a very strong drive to advance their English level.

Roles and Tasks
Main Responsibility: Leading Energy Management, Environmental, Sustainability & CO2 Reduction Topics
- Establishing standards / specifications for equipment and energy management related topics
- Actively leading sustainability & CO2 neutrality topics within MFTBC (Headquarters & Retail Network)
- Coordinating with other Daimler Trucks entities (globally) on CO2 topics
- Coordinating with local government as well as internal stakeholders
- Researching, preparing & delivering revolutionary CO2 reduction / sustainability projects incl. supplier management, specification creation, leading RFQ topics with Procurement Department etc.
