Job Description

MICE Coordinator 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with clients to oversee the development, coordination and delivery of conferences, meetings and private events.
  • To produce detailed function sheets for each event and to send out in a timely fashion – to then work in collaboration with our operations team to ensure the delivery of the event exceeds our client's expectations.
  • To communicate, maintain and develop new and existing client relationships.
  • Manage operational and administrative functions to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently.
  • Ensuring excellent customer service and quality of service at all times.
  • To work as part of the sales team; to contribute to & assist senior management in promoting hotel goals.
  • Ensure there is fluid communication of all events to all hotel departments.
  • To promote sell-up opportunity, cross-sell of F&B outlets as appropriate.

 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Have a real understanding of hotel operations and specifically Conference and Events.
  • Passion, energy, enthusiasm.
  • The ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills with excellent spoken & written English.
  • A structured and organized approach to work planning
