Assembly Finish and Test
The BMW Group is currently recruiting an intern to undertake a role within Assembly to support our Finish Team at the MINI Plant in Oxford. The Oxford Plant is the birthplace of MINI production and one of the most modern and technically advanced car plants in the world.
What will you be doing?
• Raise and evaluate Problem Resolution Reports
• Continuous Improvement Activities
• Assist in aligning Quality Processes within the BMW Group Manufacturing Network
• Undertake specific project activities as instructed by General Managers & Group Leaders (e.g. Industry 4.0/man machine interface)
• Data analysis and management
• Stable takt support
• Lean Manufacturing roll out and support
• Quality Control Analysis - Conducting tests and inspections of products, services or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
• Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Studying towards a 2:2 Bachelor degree - preferably in Engineering or Economics
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to identify complex problems, develop and evaluate options, and implement solutions
- Strong time management skills
