Paint Application Department

  • Overall responsibility for applying the protective and cosmetic layers to the car body this includes the UV protection layer. Also responsible for applying the clearcoat protective layer to protect the coatings.
  • Responsibility for automated equipment to achieve the process
  • Responsibility for quality management of the process.
  • Application of bespoke contrast roof variants

What will you be doing?

  • Support the continued role out of data analytic systems within the department and develop system processes to allow ease of use.
  • Based on recent process changes conduct and verify quality improvement experiments to validate “optimum” batch and colour size requirements.
  • Support with new model integration activities
  • Digitalisation overview of all application KPI's
  • Bespoke reporting from Data Analytic systems
  • Undertaking a Bachelor’s Engineering/Computer Science or Business Degree and is progressing towards a minimum 2:2
  • Must be a competent IT user.
  • Good communicator
  • Self-driven as some tasks will require them to drive themselves.
  • Has personal interest in engineering
  • Confident and self assured
