The Purchasing Team is based at MINI Plant Oxford and is responsible for purchasing everything which is not a car component, so includes such things as manufacturing equipment and its spare parts, construction, and outsourced services. We are recruiting an Intern to join us for a period of 13 months commencing July 2022.

What awaits you?

• Assist buyers with purchasing in various commodity fields, involving contact with external suppliers.
• Carry out supporting activities for the department eg, data collection and analysis, presentation preparation, organising events and meetings.
• Full involvement in departmental activities such as teambuilding and improvement measures.

Undergraduate in any discipline, but ideally with a business focus and on course to achieve a 2:2 or above.
• Experience of MS Suite, in particular Excel.
• Self-motivated and able to take responsibility for tasks and projects.
• Willingness to work flexibly.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A European language to A level is an advantage, although not essential.
