Vehicle Validation, Electronics and Automated Driving Placement
Electronics, Automated Driving, Driving Dynamics and Powertrain have the responsibility in Oxford for all pre-series and series validation for the Process Chain with the task of ensuring that the product is ready to launch into the market (Plant DOC status). Early problem detection, preventing potential failures in internal and external metrics QZ, 2K, (Delivery Quality) GWK 1-4 (Warranty), JD Power, Pannen (Breakdowns), both in terms of cases and costs to business.
What will you be doing?
- Preparation of vehicles for testing which could include; pre-checks, updates both hardware/software, vehicle collection and returning of post evaluation.
- Basic vehicle customer functionality static evaluations.
- Support in analysis of problems identified
- Support in development of customer protections and potential solutions
- Support in evaluation and testing of decided solutions.
- Continued development of Interactive team board incorporating data analytic and visualisation tools
- Working towards an Engineering related degree Electric and Electronics (or equivalent) 2.1 or higher
- Have good IT and communication skills
- Have a valid UK driving licence
- A good team player
- Highly self-motivated
- Can demonstrate the ability to work to deadlines on their own and as part of a team.
