Virtual Reality – System Integration
The System Integration Interior department is responsible for the geometric and functional integration of the interior during the development phase up until 3 months after SOP. Our metrology specialists support complex analysis topics across the wider team with their extensive measurement capabilities. Finally, we are also responsible for tolerance management in the plant. We have a current innovation project to develop Virtual Reality as a tool to support engineering analysis within the Quality division.
What will you be doing?
- Develop our VR system for use in Quality analysis problems.
- Involvement in current and future production topics.
- Development new functionality in the VR software.
- Grow the use of VR across plant Oxford.
- Training of new users.
- Contribute to the development of VR across BMW network.
- Engineering based degree or similar (min 2:1 expected)
- Good English language
- Computer-aided design (CAD) experience beneficial
- Candidate must be able to drive and hold a full EU driving license
