Support the continuous operations of Intel's global factory network and Client Computing (MCC) service is part of the Infrastructure organization.
Primarily responsible for all MIT Infrastructure operational systems and services which covers incident/event/crisis/problem management and request fulfilment.
Actively participate in global client working groups to drive continuous improvement and achieve systems health goals, as well as emerging capability needs. Also utilize advanced troubleshooting skills and Model Based Problem Solving (MBPS) methodologies to solve MIT systems issues.
Responsibilities also includes achieving department's KPIs, overseeing business process consistency and drive improvement efforts by partnering with stakeholders for continuous improvement and problem prevention.
Above all, the position requires an enthusiastic team player and an individual who is driven by technical curiosity in the pursuit of root cause. They should have excellent communication, stakeholder management and networking skills and be motivated to continuously learn and grow their technical knowledge. In an environment of ongoing upgrades , a strong ability to define and deliver on projects is also critical.
Qualifications
Bachelor or a Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields.
Strong Infrastructure knowledge, especially on Client Computing - Windows Client OS/Networking (DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Group Policy), Virtual machines, Altiris, BigFix, etc.
Strong project management, analytical, communication, scripting (PowerShell) and technical problem solving skills.
Resourceful, creative and innovative in coming out with ideas to resolve complex issues.
Proficient with current IT technologies.
Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
