As a manufacturing labs equipment engineering manager you will be part of IDC manufacturing labs staff, you will manage a team of equipment engineers; develop a strong manufacturing technical group; work closely with operation and engineering functions to improve current manufacturing processes and infrastructures; escalate fast solutions, drive innovative technical solutions, improve machine availability with min cost and ensure high quality and fast and smooth NPI implementation.

As part of this role, you will:
- set priorities for the team, get results across boundaries, ensure an inclusive work environment, develop employees, and manage performance. Plans, provides resources for, and directs activities in engineering function to meet schedules, standards, and cost.
- Identifies and analyze problems, plans, tasks, and solutions.
- Provides guidance on employee development, performance, and productivity issues.
- Plans and schedules daily tasks, uses judgement on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices
- Focus on equipment reliability, high availability with minimum cost.
- Lead and implement innovation activities.
- Manage sub-contractors and field service engineers activities.
- Be responsible for timelines and deliverables to meet product's goals and schedule.
- Manage work-team of multi-disciplinary members for top quality NPI implementation, including technical solution implementation (Jigs and tool, line installation and readiness)
 

Qualifications

- B.Sc. in Engineering - Electrical/Electronics/ Mechanical Eng - Mandatory
- Minimum of 5 years of proven engineering management experience
- Strong written and verbal English language communications skills.
- Proven Project management skills.
- Ability to work in multi-disciplinary environments
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Good interpersonal relationships.
