Job Responsiblity:
1. prepare and deliver lessons to a range of classes of different ages and abilitiesmark work, give appropriate feedback and maintain records of pupils' progressand development
2. research new topic areas, maintaining up-to-date subject knowledge, and deviseand write new curriculum materials
3. prepare pupils for external examinationsmanage pupil behaviour in the classroom and on school premises, and apply appropriate and effective measures in cases of misbehaviour\
4. undertake pastoral duties, such as taking on the role of homeroom teacher, andsupporting pupils on an individual basis through academic or personal difficulties
5. communicate with parents and carers over pupils' progress and participate indepartmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole-school training events
6. participate in and organise extracurricular activities, such as elective programmesoutings, social activities, school concerts and sporting events
7. undergo regular observations and participate in regular in-service training as partof continuing professional development (CPD).
8. lesson preparation and collaborative planning

10. class decoration
11. contribute your expertise in a committee
12. supervising students during night studyparticipate in external accreditation exercise
13. participate in weekend student recruitment activities (At least one Saturday or Sunday a month for not more than 8 weekends a year.)

15. other tasks assigned by the school during official work hours

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s Degree or above
2. More than two years of relevant experience
3. Postgraduate Degree in Education or Related Teaching Subject
4. A teaching license recognized by home country’s education ministry

Candidates with the following experience and training will add advantage:
1. IB MYP transdisciplinary approach to inquiry
2. English language teaching related certifications from credible awarding bodies
3. IB /Cambridge related workshops for teachers
4. Homeroom teacher experience
5. Understanding various language assessment tools e.g. MAPS / Raz-kids /Cambridge YLE
