职位描述

1. Ensure medical leadership in Assigned TA and Product/brand strategy

• Prepare and execute TA medical strategy and tactic plan to work with Development, Marketing, and US medical team to synergize and prioritize medical affairs trials and activities in align with business strategy and objectives.
• Work closely with development team to provide solid support to trial implementation in terms of site/investigator recommendation, trial start-up, initiation, patient recruitment, etc.
• Review and accountable for brand medical plan and launch readiness medical plan.
• Ensure and responsible for compliance and quality in external material review and medical affairs studies implementation.
• Provide timely medical support to DRA team in terms of NDA approval, PAC implementation, license renew, license updates, safety updates, etc.

2. Leading scientific communication strategies and Medical Activities:

• Set up medical activities plan in align with business objectives, such as Advisory board meetings, national/regional educational meetings, KOL development programs, etc., and ensure successful implementation.
• Set up scientific communication strategy including key publications from BeiGene trials and key messages in therapeutic area and BeiGene brands to support business strategies and life cycle management.
• Aligned with development and brand team to develop integrated KOL list, ensure sufficient KOL coverage by educational meetings, KOL visit, scientific project, speaker training, etc. and ensure proper tracking of the activities
• Actively participate development/brand related meetings, and share external customer insights with internal customers
• Lead cross functional team to manage crisis and risks with drug safety and quality control.

3. Supervise the implementation of Medical Affairs Studies

• Lead the full scope of Medical affairs studies (Phase IV/PMS, IIT and epidemiological researches) and publication plan to be aligned with the brand strategy.
• Chair TA related protocol review meeting, participate brand meeting and Global medical team meeting to ensure strategy alignment globally and locally.
• Ensure all Medical affairs studies implementation in accordance with protocol, timeline, and BeiGene SOPs, ICH and/or China GCP and local regulations.
• Identify the problem in trial operation aspect, and improve the process.
• Work with Clinical operation team to manage clinical trial budget.

4. Manage and develop Medical team and staff

• Recruit, develop and manage Medical advisors and MSLs.
• Set up annual objective with team members, review the progress periodically, and provide coach/feedback to team members.
• To provide capability & gap assessment on team members, identify personal development and training needs, and utilize internal & external training resource to meet employee’s needs.
• Prepare and control budgets for the team.
• Coach and provide guidance to the staff to be compliant.

任职条件

• Master degree or above in clinical medicine, pharmacy or life science
• At least 5/8/10+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience in medical affairs
• At least 1 year of people management experiences.
• Strong expertise and knowledge of clinical medicine.
• Strong business mindset and demonstrated customer focus
• Proven ability to lead and coach medical personnel at skill and knowledge levels.
• Strong understanding to code of industry and clinical trial management process, business planning.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a cross functional environment. Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Strong leadership and motivation skills.
• Ability to face and drive change and self-learning.
• Fluent in spoken and written English is required
