MTB ASM Process Engineering (ADT) Engineer Assistant
Job Description
As an Assembly Process Development Engineering Assistant, you will be responsible for evaluating and improving new process, equipment and material baseline, supporting in development of process, equipment and/or material capability and evaluating/qualifying new device, equipment and/or material. You will also be involved in supporting project handover and transfer to site as well as assisting in implementation of new process and process change to operation.
Responsibilities and Tasks
Evaluate and improve new Process, Equipment and Material baseline
Support Engineer to troubleshoot process problems and determine the best course of action
Make process adjustments to optimize quality
Support Engineer to troubleshoot deviations using systematic troubleshooting techniques
Ensure corrective action was taken to prevent reoccurrence of process development quality issue
Support in development of Process, Equipment and/or Material Capability
Assist Engineer in conducting experiments (DOE - Design of Experiments) and Engineering evaluation
Understand factors that impact process quality and propose solutions
Understand process limits and capabilities (CPK) and support process improvement evaluations
Assist Engineer in monitoring Process Capability for new baseline
Evaluate/Qualify New Device, Equipment and/or Material
Support new process, qualification builds
Support new equipment evaluation and qualification builds
Support new material (direct or indirect) evaluation and qualification builds
Assist in implementation of New Process and Process Changes to Operation
Assist Engineer in establishing new operation procedures/specification
Assist Engineer in updating Assembly On-Line Document System (AODS) and change communication procedures: ECN (Engineering Change Notice)
Familiarize with Assembly qualification procedures
Attain knowledge of material attributes (shelf life, storage requirements, etc.)
Coordinate and conduct training/briefing for operational personnel on product/process requirement, machine and operation procedures
Support Project handover and transfer to Site
Assist Engineer in preparing process documentation for handing over to Site
Assist data gathering (eg Yield, defect pareto, Quality Deviation Report incidence etc) for low volume production
Assist Engineer to gather feedback for Continuous Improvement after mass volume production
