YOUR ROLE
We are looking for an experienced and talented QA Lead or QA Manager. You will work as part of a distributed agile team developing the SDL Knowledge Center software.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• You will lead the Quality Assurance team of this product line. Leading and assisting functional, technical and automation testers
• You will be required to prepare and execute test plans that ensure adequate and appropriate testing of SDL Knowledge Center prior to release
• You will be the liaison with members of the support and professional services team to ensure effective communication between teams
• You will manage bugs from discovery through to successful resolution.  Preparation and execution of test cases and creation and maintenance of test environments
• You will communicate internally and possibly with the customer for extra information, workaround, and solution
• You will need to provide input into overall design and functionality scope through useful feedback
• You will be part of roadmap, design, QA and release management
• Product oriented thinking; reworking and keeping up with current standards
• Reporting progress and identifying, escalating and removing obstacles that might endanger the agreed release date
• Reviewing peer deliverables
• Active team participation including attending daily SCRUM meetings
• Providing input to technical writers

• Experience with using a content management system
• Experience with agile development
• Knowledge of Xml Editors like oXygen XML Editor, JustSystems XMetaL, Arbortext Editor, Adobe FrameMaker,… is a plus
