Job Description- MXA Electrical FA engineer


Job Description

As a MXA Electrical FA engineer, you will be responsible for providing electrical failure analysis support for requests from MXA on quality deviation or engineering studies. You will be expected to improve the failure analysis process in order to reduce test time, increase throughput, and increase failure mechanism assignment accuracy and consistency. In this work environment you will be required to follow lab policies and safety procedures.

Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Conduct Electrical Defect Analysis per request
  • Relate electrical failure modes to physical defects
  • Utilize layout to correlate failures when necessary
  • Able to operate FA tools (eg: uMate).
  • Compile the data and write detailed FA reports.
  • Work with team lead, technician and engineers to improve lab operational efficiency.
  • Improve productivity and TAT and apply out of box and BIC approach.
  • Drive/support quality improvement or engineering project.
  • Establish and maintain lab procedures to ensure the compliance with internal and external requirements (eg: customer requirements, industrial standards.)
  • Write technical papers related with new tests and improvements as possible.


Education Required

  • Master's/Bachelor's degree in IC/Material/Physics/Electronics/Chemistry/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent technical field.


Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Lab, Quality, Process or Product engineering in semiconductor (preferred)
  • Strong data analysis and data interpretation skills
  • Effective problem solving skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to interpret and effectively resolve complex, technical or ambiguous requests and problems
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle occasional high stress situations in a professional manner
