Position: MYP Arts or Digital Design Teacher

Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and creative MYP Arts or Digital Design Teacher to join our international school in Shanghai. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in delivering the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) curriculum and a strong commitment to inspiring students through inquiry-based, concept-driven learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach MYP Arts or Digital Design to middle school students (Grades 6–10).

Develop and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the MYP framework and assessment criteria.

Foster students’ creativity, problem-solving skills, and digital literacy through practical and project-based learning.

Collaborate with colleagues in planning, curriculum development, and interdisciplinary projects.

Provide regular assessment and feedback to support student growth and achievement.

Participate in school events, professional development, and extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or above in Arts, Design, Education, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching MYP Arts or Digital Design (or equivalent international curriculum).

Excellent understanding of MYP philosophy, approaches to learning, and assessment practices.

Strong communication and classroom management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Native English-speaking country background.

Valid overseas teaching license or PGCE certification.

Proven middle school teaching experience.
