1. Plan, prepare, teach, and review lessons that show an understanding of how physical, social, and intellectual development and characteristics of students impact learning.
2. Utilize research and collegial input on how students learn to maximize learning opportunities for all students.
3. Employ teaching strategies that align with the needs and learning strengths of a diverse student body (linguistically, culturally, religiously, and socially).
4. Promote intercultural awareness through teaching and learning.
5. Consistently employ differentiation strategies to meet specific and broad student needs.
6. Support and promote the school’s philosophy, mission, and goals.
7. Provide each student with day-to-day instructional excellence.
8. Work cooperatively within a collaborative team and with administrators in curriculum design, assessment, and implementation as it pertains to the grade-level programs.
9. Work cooperatively with parents to create strong partnerships and meet the needs of students.
10. Collect authentic data, observe and record age-appropriate student assessments, and utilize assessment results in a prescriptive, constructive manner to promote student learning. 11. Utilize formative assessment data to deliver appropriate instruction to each student.
12. Attend school organized events & activities.
13. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Principal and the administration.
14. Attend and participate in scheduled professional development activities.
15. Organize, teach, train and accompany students for competitions.
16. Support student admission activities for demo classes during recruitment seasons, and may sometimes be scheduled in turns on weekends.
17. Other tasks as assigned by the Coordinator.
