Intel Data Analytics Software team is looking for a Machine Learning Software Engineering Manager to lead development of challenging software technologies and products in the area of data science.
The role requires close interaction with software and hardware teams at Intel as well as day-to-day work with open source community, partners and customers across a globe. In this role you will lead a team responsible for development and performance optimizations of oneDAL for Intel server and client processors and accelerators. You will be working with Intel AI staff and customers to define product plans and deliver features and performance optimizations for current and future generations of Intel processors and accelerators. You will also be responsible for hiring, retaining, and developing engineering talent.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
Master's degree with 3 + years of experience in Computer Science, Math, or Electronic Engineering or related technical degree.
3+ years in people management role.
3+ years experience in software development, software development lifecycle or project/program management.
Preferred qualifications:
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Experience in software development in multi-geo projects.
Experience in performance software development and/or high performance computing (HPC) projects.
Experience with open source software.
Experience working on shipping software products.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$171,440.00-$257,260.00

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
