Job Description
Eaton’s B-Line Division is currently seeking a Machine Operator-II to join our 1st Shift team. This position is based at our Reno, NV facility. Pay Rate: $19.65/hour + $.50/hour shift differential Shift Hours: 6:00AM-2:30PM In this function you will: Understand and proficiently operate assigned machines/presses Troubleshoot various machinery problems Identify and tag tubs according to shop orders QC and document all parts run on machines Retrieve and enter data into SAP computer system Inventory components and supplies as needed to ensure efficient and timely production Keep work areas clean and safe Other various duties and responsibilities as may be assigned Qualifications Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required Minimum of 6 months experience operating brake press and/ or stamping press machines Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Reno, NV will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Preferred qualifications: 12+ months of Experience operating brake or stamping presses Previous experience in a manufacturing environment 6 months of experience with forming or bending machines 6+ months of experience reading drawings or blueprints Experience confirming that parts conform to specs using measuring tools. Position Criteria: Ability to communicate effectively Able to operate machinery and presses safely Able to read, accurately interpret and produce parts from blueprints and shop drawings Able to identify different gauges and types of raw material Able to accurately read tape measure, scales, and calipers Able to work effectively and productively as member of a team with minimal supervision Physical Requirements: Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift. Able to lift and bend on a continuous basis Able to regularly lift 35 pounds without assistance. Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure.
