Eaton’s Electrical Sector is currently seeking an Assembler Team Lead First shift to join our team. This position is based at our Santa Ana,CA location. Position Overview: The Team Lead is responsible for Supporting Operations Management as needed to accomplish the company’s overall objectives of providing on-time delivery of quality products. Supporting and initiating actions with management to ensure that personnel comply with all company guidelines, including Health & Safety and productivity levels. In this function you will: Provide assistance as needed to the operators to improve the ability to meet quality and productivity standards. Using the reports available, monitor the progress of projects on the production floor to ensure on time delivery to the customer expectations. Provide feedback to management on the matters that impede the progress of management’s objectives of providing a harmonious, safe and productive work environment. Keep all work areas clean, organized and presentable. Demonstration and support of compliance with all company guidelines, including safety, attendance and punctuality. Maintain Visual Management communications boards. Perform periodic 6s audits of various plant operations. Communicate shift status to Production Management as well as opposite shift lead and Production Supervisors (if applicable). Support continuous improvement of assigned area(s). Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent or GED or ten years experience with PDI Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without out company sponsorship, now or in the future. No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the Richmond, VA location. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Preferred Qualifications: 2 to 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Previous supervisory experience preferred Lean 6S [5S + Safety] experience preferred Position Success Criteria: Ability to adhere to company safety requirements.
