Job Overview:
You will perform the function of Maintenance Engineer in the Paint Maintenance Department by supporting, stabilizing and improving the asset management of critical equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Identify and initiate continuous improvement activities to ensure quality, volume and availability targets are met
- Lead equipment failure investigations, determine root cause and implement corrective and preventative actions
- Define and audit equipment repair parts processes
- Provide a specialized technical function with regards to the optimization, performance, preventative maintenance, FMEA, repairs and availability of the Paint shop production equipment
- Define & Implement Condition based monitoring concept for component failure prediction
- Define & Implement TPM process with clear roles & responsibilities
- Ensure all spare parts requirements are defined and met
- Ensure all required documentation is accurate and is according to ECM standard
- Develop, implement and optimize best practices in terms of equipment performance
- Develop the maintenance teams with the relevant technical knowledge and skills in order to fulfil their function optimally
- Define and successfully implement cost saving initiatives
- Define and implement efficient recovery methods and bypass procedures to reduce MTTR
- Effective management of contractors and contracts
- Establish National & International Daimler networking & support structure
- Stay current with product specifications, engineering technology and production processes
- Propose and manage medium-scale projects from beginning to end. May scope and manage large capital investment projects (>$5M)
