We are seeking a passionate Maintenance Manager to join our Maintenance team.

As our next Maintenance Manager, you will:

• Be responsible in ensuring that our property functions like a well-oiled machine;
• Communicate effectively at all levels, from the General Manager to guests and contractors working onsite;
• Work closely with Hospital key stakeholders on matters of compliance & maintenance;
• Be required to always keep a level head in a variety of situations in front of both guests and fellow team members;
• Work closely with all other departments including Housekeeping and Front Office to manage the issues at hand.

What we are looking for:

• A leader with previous maintenance or engineering experience within a hotel like or similar operation to take ownership of the maintenance department;
• The ability to be a team player with a flexible approach in working collaboratively across our hotel;
• A  financial understanding of managing a profitable operation, and familiarity with WHS legislation compliance would be advantageous;
• A relevant trade qualification/demonstrated experience is ideal;
• A capacity to take initiative and coordinate multiple tasks or projects simultaneously while maintaining a preventative maintenance schedule will be highly regarded.
