Job Description
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Manage the maintenance department and electrical testing operations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Manage the maintenance of over 200 pieces of production equipment in the plant in support of production Tool Champion of ELSS’ Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Manage the DTDT / ASSY electrical test equipment to meet customer specifications, safety and industry product related standards focusing on meeting reliability of testing parameters and machine guarding requirements. Manage Engineering & Technician work to support (repair / spare parts / support / record) information to customer specifications. Manage and control Transformer Engineering Record system to safeguard the integrity of information providing access with different rights to users requiring the use of the system. Support plant initiatives to find alternatives to use overproduced DTDT products in open orders that will meet customer requirements and reduce finished goods plant inventory . Support Corrective and Preventive Action process to find and eliminate root cause of problems on DTDT products. Perform ISO 14000/9000 Auditor functions to support plant Quality System. Support and communicate to team members MESH policies, procedures and environmental objectives in effect. Qualifications SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: Bachelor’s in industrial engineering (Electrical, Electronic, or Electromechanical) Expertise in environmental regulations relative to Maquiladora Industry Expertise in Preventative and corrective maintenance of manufacturing, electrical testing and facilities equipment. Knowledge and expertise in project assessment (Cost, benefit).
