Job Overview
Responsible for keep machines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of an establishment in repair. Duties may involve pipe fitting; insulating; welding; machining; carpentry; repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment; and repairing buildings, floors, or stairs during second shift hours.


Responsibilities
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment. Diagnosis problems based on operator feedback and test results.

- Perform preventive maintenance utilizing checklists to visually inspect components, replace worn parts as needed and verify efficient operation of equipment.

- Utilize common power hand tools and machine shop equipment, along with precision measuring equipment, to analyze and repair damaged components

- Study blueprints and manufacturers’ manuals to insure correct installation and operation of equipment

- Assemble, install or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery and equipment as required

- Perform all duties to the prescribed standard.
