How will you make an impact?
Act as sites data administrator and subject matter expert (SME) for the validated Maximo computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) in a cGMP environment.  Plan and coordinate calibrations and maintenance work orders with internal and external resources.  Responsible for asset management for the site.  Represent the Princeton site as part of the global corporate Maximo team.  Typical hours for this role are 7:00a – 3:30p, Monday – Friday, with some overtime as needed.
 
What will you do?
 
  • Performs PM assessments for existing and new equipment or systems.  Develops Preventative Maintenance job plans utilizing manufacturers recommendations, best practices, industry recommendations, and relevant technical experience.
  • Optimize maintenance strategies so that equipment reliability and plant productivity is maximized while minimizing downtime.
  • Identify and maintain critical spare parts inventory. Input spare parts inventory into Maximo and associate the parts to the related assets.
  • Owns and coordinates asset management across the site including registering new assets, placing assets Out of Service, or decommissioning assets as requested.
  • Develops reports, dashboard queries and special queries to meet user requirements. Develops graphical Key Performance Indicators, metrics, and screen layouts as required.
  • Proactively monitors work order progress to ensure timely completion in alignment with governing procedures.
  • Generate work order status reports and regularly submit to Facilities Management.
  • Responsible for CMMS user management and new employee CMMS training.
  • Develops Maximo training materials to train staff at various user levels from requestor to data administrator in alignment with governing SOPs.
  • Participates in Global Core team meetings and acts as the sites SME and data administrator.  Coordinates with global team for software upgrades/updates/expansions including project scoping, work plans, and testing requirements.
  • Acts as sites point of contact for the CMMS system and provides user support as needed.  Escalates issues to corporate Maximo team when needed and coordinates between the site and global team for issue resolution.
  • Assist in providing critical maintenance documentation associated with client/regulatory audits.
  • Retrieve records, follow-up, and interact with Production, R&D, Maintenance, and QA in addressing questions regarding this data.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of cGMP documentation requirements.  Set up and maintain hard copy files for PM equipment and equipment data files.
  • Make continuous maintenance improvements and embrace PPI.
  • Comply with all job-related safety and other training requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned which may include PO generation, service contract coordination, shutdown coordination, SOP writing and/or review.
 
How will you get here?
 
  • High school diploma or equivalent minimally required.
  • Associates degree preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree a plus.
 
 
  • Three to five years of data entry experience into maintenance CMMS (SAP, Maximo, Oracle, etc.)
  • Three years of relevant maintenance planning experience with Maximo is preferred.
  • Must be able to setup PM job plans and calibrations in Maximo
  • Proven experience closing and confirming work orders in Maximo
  • Experience using Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Working knowledge of how to build effective Preventative Maintenance job plans.
  • Ability to supervise the work of others using a CMMS.
  • Knowledge of standard mechanical and electrical terminology and practices.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter, mature, independent and dependable.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure, able to multi-task and is results-oriented.

Physical Requirements:
Position requires ordinary ambulatory skills and physical coordination sufficient to move about office locations; ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch periodically for prolonged periods of time; manipulation (lift, carry, move) of light to medium weights of 10-35 pounds; arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp and type for prolonged periods of time; visual acuity to use a keyboard, computer monitor, operate equipment, and read materials for prolonged periods of time; ability to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear for prolonged periods of time.
