The establishment of IKEA Supply (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (ISMY) is to support/drive improvement in the current and future Logistics/Distribution Network within Asia Pacific (AP). The organization will supply full range of IKEA products from High Flow and Low Flow goods to South East Asia (SEA) market including Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, India and future new markets within the region.

We are strategically located at Port Klang, near Kuala Lumpur to cater for an efficient goods flow with minimum lead time for the inbound flow.

• Guarantee operational support by intervening in case of malfunction of system or requests from the staff working in Distribution Unit ("DU")
• Assistance in checking the pallet flow to the silo (quality control & measurement)
• Follow all maintenance / service parts related to the automatic equipment and plant according to the safety and process requirements
• To keep the automatic systems in perfect condition. For this purpose, system administration programs are used to intervene in the event of a disruption, demand or call-up by the DU staff
• To check the pallet conditions that should be sent to the automatic silo loading on a call from operations (labelling department)
• Responsible for carrying out the scheduled maintenance of the plant or carry out extraordinary interventions in the event of a failure in accordance with the operating and safety procedures
• Responsible for the assigned tasks by the Silo Tech Responsible and for which the silo team has to react and participate

• At least diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 3 years working experience in a Facility/ Plant / Building maintenance
• Knowledge of safety regulations & laws
• Good Microsoft Office knowledge
• Good communication skills

This permanent assignment will be based at our temporary management office at Kota Kemuning during the establishment period and to be relocated to the new Distribution Centre in Pulau Indah, Port Klang, Malaysia in year 2020.
